May 2013, visiting Guatemala, turned to be the "muse" for this journey known as Great Spirit Designs.

Traveling to different places in Guatemala, including Panajachel, Sololá aka "Pana" as the Guatemalans call it. It is a little but beautiful corner of the world, full of colours, flavours and smiling people and crowned with a stunning volcano panorama view. Taking a hike one day and meeting traveling artisans on the vendor strip making and selling their crafts. This sparked the inspired to do this as well, but plans to become artisans wouldn't come to surface until Fall 2014.

In Fall 2015 a "Van-Life" adventure from Toronto, Ontario, across Canada and in the USA, meeting different talented artisans along the way would continue the muse and inspiration. A fortunate stroke of serendipity landed this hobby business in Kootenay Boundary area in British Columbia.

Great Spirit Designs creativity has lead to having a repertoire of different handmade products; from the Forest Themed Beeswax Candles to the Handmade Leather Accessories and in their Tie Dye Collection.
