About Us
Our journey began in 2019 as “The Farm”, a small operation selling ethically raised meats by the whole, half, or quarter under a Ministry of Agriculture Farm Gate Plus license. From the beginning, we’ve been guided by a commitment to transparency, sustainability, and respect for the land and animals we steward. As demand grew, so did our vision — to provide more options to local families while staying true to our values.
Over the past year, that vision became a reality with the completion of The Bubba Shack — our on-farm, certified commercial kitchen, fully inspected and approved by Interior Health. This facility lets us handle every step of processing right here at the farm, ensuring food safety, exceptional freshness, and full regulatory compliance.
What makes us different? We handle every step — from raising and caring for our animals to processing, cutting, and packaging — right here on the farm. No middlemen. No shortcuts. Just real food raised right.
We operate on a small-batch, seasonal model, raising a limited number of animals with humane, sustainable practices. This allows us to prioritize quality over quantity and maintain the highest standards at every stage.
In addition to premium meats, we grow fresh seasonal vegetables and produce small batches of preserved goods — from jams and pickles to sauces and broth — all crafted with the same safety standards and careful attention to quality.
We’re invested in ethical farming, better food systems, and a deep commitment to doing things the right way.
